MAG 8000 boasts up to 10 years maintenance-free battery-powered operation, and delivers best-in-class performance to optimise water supply monitoring. It is suitable for leakage detection and can used for accurate billing. The integrated datalogger can be twinned with the use of a selectable alarm to signal High or Low flow conditions .Installation is simple as there is no need for mains power and the flowmeter comes complete with a compact or remote transmitter with factory mounted cable . The MAG 8000 is built to withstand severe environmental influence and as the enclosure is IP 68/ NEMA 6P rated, it is robust and can be buried or installed in a flooded chamber with damage to the flow meter. It also has a special coating to protect against abrasive media. It has no moving parts to wear or clog, so the MAG 8000 is resistant to solids and debris in the fluid. There is no need for regular maintenance.
