The TRwS is a total rain gauge weighing system designed for the measurement of precipitation. The sensor can be used in a wide range of applications where wide temperature ranges, harsh wind and snow conditions may be present. On-board diagnostics ensure that the precipitation gauge can be evaluated and monitored locally for assessment before deployment. All TRwS gauges include orifice heating as standard, making them ideal for operation in low temperature environments. Outputs from the precipitation gauge include pulse output, RS-485 and SDI-12 making the suitable for integration into local data logging and GSM / GPRS telemetry systems.
